Host/Lenyrose: “Ang shabu ay isa sa mga bawal na gamot o droga, mahal naming mga magulang, alam mo ba ang epekto nito sa tao ng bawal na gamot? Pakinggan natin si Kaka Ali tatalakayin niya ang epekto ng bawal na gamot.

 

 (PLAY INTRO)

 

Ang pagkalulong sa bawal na gamot (drug addiction) o ang pagkahumaling, pagkaadik, o adiksyon ng isang tao sa mga pinagbabawal na gamot. Isa itong uri ng katayuan o karamdaman   na mahirap tanggalin at iwasan ng isang taong nasa ganito nang kalagayan, o ng taong nagumon na sa pagkasanay sa paggamit ng ganitong mga uri ng gamot.

 

Ano ang epekto ng bawal na gamot sa tao?

 

“Naku Kaka grabe!” sagot ng isang dating nalulong sa bawat na gamot.

 

Sabi nga nila: “drug adik never grow old coz they die young.”

 

(LAUGHING)

 

Ayon sa kanyang paliwanag,   ay nakapagdudulot ang bawal na gamot ng pansamantalang ginhawa at mainam na pakiramdam sa sarili  dahil sa epekto ng gamot na ito.   Ngunit nasusundan ang kaginhawahang ito o pakiramdaman ng ganting-kilos o tugon o reaksiyon mula sa sistema ng nerbiyos, na kinabibilangan ng pagkalungkot o depresyon, o kawalan ng kaginhawahan at hindi mapakali. Dahil sa reaksiyong ito, nabubuo o nahuhubog ang patuloy na paggamit ng bawal na gamot na nagiging isa nang kaugalian o pag-uulit at panay na paggamit.

 

Dagdag pa ng isang manggagamot na nagsagawa ng pag-aaral sa epekto ng bawal na gamot.

 

“Sa katagalan ng pag-gamit ng gamot na ito ay naaapektuhan ang sistemang panunaw ng tao, ang kaniyang pagtulog, nagkakaroon ng pagka-iritable ng sistemang nerbiyos o pagkabugnutin.”

 

O ikaw kapatid gusto mo ba ang anak mo, maranasan niya ang ganoon? Heot pa ang masamang epekto ng gamot na ito.  Humahantong rin sa pagkabaliw o pagkasira ng isipan at utak ang adiksyon sa gamot. Namamatay rin ang tao dahil sa pagkalason sa gamot, o dahil sa pagkitil niya ng sariling buhay.

 

Sabagay totoo ang sinasabi nila na magkakaiba ang mga epekto ng pinagbabawal na gamot sa iba’t ibang mga tao.

 

Ngunit ang sigorado ko kaibigan ay ang pinsala sa ating mga anakna dulot ng mga bawal na gamot. Una na rito ang   pagkakaroon ng problema sa katawan, sa kalusugan, sa mga relasyon sa kaibigan, mag-anak, at maging sa pamayanan. Maidaragdag din dito ang pinsala na nagaganap sa kanyang pamumuhay dahil sa paggamit ng bawal na gamot, pati na ang sa hanap-buhay, pag-aaral, at akomodasyon. Humahantong din ang paggamit ng bawal na gamot sa anumang paglabag sa batas ng tao, lipunan lalong-lalo na sa batas ng Poong Lumikha o Diyos.

 

At ang pinaka-praktikal na nakikita natin ay dahil sa paggamit ng masasamang gamot, naaapektuhan ang kakayahang magpasiya ng isang tao at   malamang ang paggawa niya ng bagay na mapanganib sa sarili at sa ibang mga tao. (ayaw mong maniwala? Sabagay tayo dito sa Upi hindi pa gaanong exposed sa ganitong problema, ngunit ang payo huwag mo ng balakin pang tuklasin, basta drugs o bawal na gamot ay masama sa tao.)

 

Alam mp kaibigan ang personal kong naobserbahan sa nalulong sa bawal na gamot, dahil sa    kanilang pagkaadik, humahantong sila sa pagsisinungaling at pagnanakaw mula sa kapwa o kamag-anak upang matugunan ang kanilang pangangailangan o naghahanap sila ng paraan para makabili ng nasabing gamot, na pamahal ng pamahal dahil alam ng nag-tutulak o nagpapabili na bibili ka, dahil adik ka na.

 

Kaka Alih, papaano namin makikilala na ang aming anak ay nalulong na pala sa bawal na gamot? Tanong ng isang magulang.

  2. pagbabago sa gawi sa pagkain,
  3. labis na pagkasumpungin,
  4. may silakbo o bugsong damdamin at pagkagalit,
  5. paglabas ng bahay sa kabuoan ng magdamag,
  6. madalas at biglaang pagpapalit ng mga kaibigan o kabarkada,
  7. kataka-takang pagkakaroon ng pangangailangan ng salapi, pagkakaroon ng labis na bilang ng pera,
  8. pagkawala ng mga mahahalaga at mamahaling mga kagamitan,  

 Ano ang gagawin ko Kaka, para maiwasan o mailayo ang aking anak sa pagkalulong sa bawal na gamot?

 

Sa pagharap sa suliraning paggamit ng bawal na gamot ng anak, o pag-alam kung gumagamit nga ba ito o hindi, kabilang sa tungkulin mo at dapat gawin bilang magulang ang pagsasagawa ng tamang gawi sa pakikipag-usap sa anak. Iminumungkahi ng mga dalubhasa ang maingat na pakikipag-ugnayan sa anak dahil sa maselan na problema ang droga, kasama na dito ang pag-alis ng takot, pagpapakita ng malasakit, at pagpapadama ng pagmamahal sa anak, at iwasan ang  pagdedebate. Dapat maipahatid sa kinakausap na anak na dahil sa iyong pagmamahal kaya mong mabulid siya sa paggamit ng masasamang gamot .

 

 Sa magulang na ang anak ay gumagamit na ng bawal na gamot.  Pinapayo ng mga dalubhasa ang pagtanggap ng mga magulang sa suliraning kinakaharap. Kabilang sa kalutasan ng pagpapagaling sa anak ang tulong at suportang nagmumula sa iyo na magulang. Hindi dapat ikatakot o ikahiya ang paghingi ng propesyunal na tulong, partikular na ang mula sa “rehabilitation center o ahensiya”:

 

Hindi mo dapat sisihin ang inyong mga sarili bilang magulang sapagkat hindi kabiguan ang suliraning kinakaharap. Alalahanin na   ang pagiging likas na bahagi ng buhay ng mga kabataan ang sumubok o mag-eksperimento ng mga bagay-bagay nab ago sa kanilang kaalaman, kabilang ang pag-inom ng alak at pagsisigarilyo, bukod sa paggamit ng bawal na gamot. May mga kabataan din na nadadala lamang ng kagipitan o ng problema  sa buhay kaya’t gumagamit ng bawal na gamot. Pagkaraan ng kanilang mga suliranin, may posibilidad na tumigil na sila sa paggamit ng masamang gamot.

 

Kapatid na magulang, upang maiwasan ng anak natin  ang paggamit ng bawal na gamot,  ang paggawa ng mga patakaran at pagpaplano ay kinakailangan natin. Iminumungkahi ng mga dalubhasa ang pagtuturo sa anak hingil sa katanggap-tanggap na gawi sa pamumuhay, at pagpapangaral kung paano lulutasin ang mga pagsusulangatan o hindi pagkakaintindihan sa ating mga tahanan.

 

Naaangkop din kilalanin ng mga magulang kung sino ang mga nagiging kaibigan ng kanilang anak, pati na ang mga magulang ng mga kabarkadang ito. Magagamit ding pang-iwas sa masasamang mga gamot ang paghimok at pagtuturo sa anak ng mga mas makalusugang paraan ng pagrerelaks o pamamahinga at mga mabubuting kaparaanan sa pangangasiwa ng mga suliranin sa buhay.

 

]Kapag nahumaling na ang isang tao sa bawal na gamot, nireseta man o hindi, isa sa mga pinakamainam na pagbibigay-lunas ang paglalagay ng pasyente sa isang institusyon para sa mga adik o “rehabilitation center”.  Dapat manatili   ang pasyente sa   sentrong pangrehabilitasyon sa loob ng sapat na panahon, upang makapanumbalik sa dati niyang kalagayang hindi umaasa sa nireresetang nakahumalingang gamot. Ginagawa ito upang magkaroong muli ang pasyente ng sapat na pagpigil at   pagkontrol sa sarili, at maging respeto sa sarili na makakatulong upang matalikuran ang kanyang adiksyon. Kapag umalis ang pasyente na may pakiramdam na parang bilanggo, isa itong tanda na hindi ganap o tama ang natanggap niyang paraan ng panggagamot.

 

 Papaano kapatid, hanggang sa muli, bukas muli tayong magsamasama sa ating segment na nakaka…
