Payo ng MILF sa GPH: Suspendihin ang Exploration ng foreign companies sa Bangsa Moro Ancestral domain

Upi, Maguindanao (Aug 1)..HINIMOK ng Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) ang Government of the Republic of the Philippines (GRP) na pansamantalang suspendihin ang operasyon ng mga foreign companies na nagsasagawa ng off-shore at on-shore oil at gas exploration sa mga lugar na sakop pa rin nga teritoryo ng Bangsamoro ancestral domain.

Kasabay nito, hiniling din ng MILF sa gobyerno na huwag ituloy ang privatization ng Agus at Pulangi hydro power complex, dahil kapag natuloy ito ay magiging hadlang ito sa pagpapatuloy ng peace negotiation lalo na sa isyu ng ancestral domain.

Ang nasabing posisyon ng MILF ay nilagdaan ni MILF Vice Chairman Ghadzali Jaafar habang suportado naman nina Mohagher Iqbal, MILF chief peace negotiator at Atty. Datu Michael Mastura, ang nagsisilbing senior panel member.

Sa statemet na inilabas ni Jaafar sa official website ng MILF na www.luwaran.com, sinabi nitong dapat lamang na malaman ng Aquino administration ang boses ng Bangsa Moro at hindi lamang ng iilang opisyal ng MILF. Kaugnay nito, umaasa ang MILF na pagbibigyan ng gobyerno ang kanilang hiling para hindi makaaapekto sa pag-usad ng usapang pangkapayaan.
